In 1994 Gustaf Horwitz, Metodika’s founder, met with Per Hedén, one of the world’s leading plastic surgeons. Together, they set out on a journey that would eventually lead to one of the most successful private Health Care initiatives in Europe.

After struggling to satisfy IT support for the newly founded clinic, Mr Hedén asked Mr. Horwitz to spend a few days evaluating different alternatives and recommend a software supplier.

“After reviewing all available options we arrived at the joint conclusion that there was no viable solution that could both satisfy the easy use and the complexity of operating a fast growing clinic. We decided to change that and formed a long term partnership between our two companies. The objective was to develop the world’s foremost clinic management software”, says Mr. Horwitz.
