Metodika recruits Friskis & Svettis founder Johan Holmsäter Metodika AB is recruiting the entrepreneur and health guru Johan Holmsäter, who will have the role of senior health and lifestyle philosopher as the company will now establish itself in the Swedish occupational health care. Johan Holmsäter has over 40 years of experience from the wellness and health industry and founded Friskis & Svettis in 1978. Throughout his professional career, he has been deeply involved in occupational health care and researched how staff health affects work, he has also been a columnist at Dagens Industri and run his own companies focusing on corporate health. Most recently, he came from a position as national coordinator for physical activity at the Government Offices. Metodika AB is a medtech company that offers clinics and hospitals a comprehensive business system, which facilitates a number of different processes and workflows, including appointments, journal management, invoicing and tools for coordinating administrative tasks for healthcare staff. Customers include the Aleris Group, Akademikliniken and Avonova Norway. The company is currently established in 11 countries in Europe. When it comes to occupational health care, they have been established in the Norwegian market for the past six years, now they are investing in launching the platform around Europe with a focus on Sweden in 2021. At the beginning of the year, they also became an associated partner for Sveriges Företagshälsor. To strengthen its position, Johan Holmsäter is now being recruited as a senior adviser.
